thank goodness
Posted by Keiri on April 3rd, 2007 filed in UncategorizedTimes like this, I’m glad I have a blog to complain to – or to ponder on. Today’s the day I call about the job and also (hopefully) the day I grow balls enough to drive down and pick up my stuff in the early morning. They open at 8, and my friend Babs had the idea I should pick things up early, before anyone but the receptionist is there. Brilliant! Avoids all drama and all people I don’t want to see. I can leave invisibly, with minimal confrontations and emotion. I’ve left so many situations before and never seen people again, I am not only used to it, I expect it. I hope others don’t try to change that.
Something can be your life every day for months – years, and be gone in an instant and never heard from again.
I do think about what I’ve learned here. So much.. so many useful things, so many things that tinge my view of the world a dark, cynical brown.
