Had a good morning
Posted by Keiri on May 3rd, 2006 filed in UncategorizedI had a nice morning, the court thing this morning went very well and I think I might land the job *fingers crossed*. Meadow (my cat) is in the vet undergoing minor surgery to remove some teeth – she has advanced periodontal disease. Probably from being a feral cat when we found her.
The game is going ok, people joining, people leaving, but things are settling down and the drama is way over. Everyone seems to get along .. just.. must better. I miss some of those who went their separate ways but I figure we can still be friends regardless of our guild tags.
I kinda wish I didn’t live in Los Angeles. I miss living near friends.
Today just felt “right” — I was being a lawyer again. Thinking like a lawyer. Negotiating. Thinking strategically. Communicating. Maybe I can do this.

Of course you can. I’ve never “met” anyone more determined than you K. Things will even out eventually and you’ll find the balance you’ve been looking for.
Good luck with the job. I’ll keep you in my thoughts.
Tomorrow I go to the doctor to find out if I can drive. Cross your fingers for me!
