blogger’s block

Posted by Keiri on February 22nd, 2005 filed in Uncategorized

It would be fair to say I have a medium amount of blogger’s block currently. Every so often I feel like I have so much to say, but I have no clear idea of how to say it. I’ve been feeling antsy, yet tired. I have quite a bit of work to do on a CDBG grant request for Rosemead due Thursday. I did send out four resumes yesterday, and I got a call for an interview for March 4. This gives me plenty of time to try to catch Fernando up on pressing matters, if I get the job.

It’s still raining enough to make people float away. Our roof is holding up, our cats are not. Every time there’s a crack of thunder Rascal hides behind the toilet and Meadow hides under the bed.

Emotionally, I’m in a weird place. Nothing bad, just odd. Maybe a touch of melancholy, but not much. Life’s changes..

“Can I sail through the changing ocean tide
can I handle the seasons of my life…”

Hi! This is the infamous ‘Brent’ as often mentioned in Echrai’s blogs. I often find myself struggling for things to write about on my blog. Sometimes i’ll start with one key sentence, and then let stream of consciousness take over. It sometimes takes me to interesting places, sometimes scary. Or I’ll incorporate a theme or purpose to the blog. Like one e-mail I did a while ago, I attempted to make the longest runon sentence I could. Maybe that’s just me. Hope you break out of the block, and dry out sometime.

You guys are the exact opposite of me. I have nothing to say, but man, can I go on forever about absolutely nothing. :) Probably why blogging’s rapidly made my list of bad habits.

Sometimes, the block is broken by writing about whatever you happen to have done. Most of my blog entries start of with just inane thoughts. (Let’s not discuss how they end at the moment.) It’s like the first few pebbles that start the land slide. But, perhaps given the weather you are seeing, I shouldn’t talk about landslides…

At least for now, you can just post the Spot comic of the day ;)
