Yays!
Posted by Keiri on February 7th, 2005 filed in UncategorizedI slept all day, but then got up and yes, wow, everybody cheer! I did the two grants I had to do _and_ applied to four jobs! *crowd goes wild*
I think I found the trick. I had forgotten mudding while doing work always kept me buzzing along. You’d think it would be a distraction, but it’s the opposite. It keeps me there. I’m going in today, but late, to print everything I need out and to give the final copies of those grants to Fernando. Then later today I need to work on the proposal to La Verne law school and call a whole bunch of cities about their cdbg grants. Aside from that, I’m caught up workwise.
Personal life wise, I still haven’t taken care of the recall on my malibu and the cats are overdue for their vet appointments. On top of that, I still need to find a new doctor out here– I’ve decided Dr. Trager (in New York) is right and this guy I have out here sucks. Jarrod – when you read this, please send me a link with the listing of in-plan docs for your plan. Thanks.
Annyway… I feel so happy and positive and awake and cheery! it’s downright sickening!
To join the brigade of people copying Echrai… Andy and Bluestar got weatherpixies, and Kitsune just told me he’s going to…
Last night I was watching tv while Jarrod was in a Lineage Siege .. and there was this odd Japanese subtitled movie on. It was called Onmyoji II. A fan of Japanese horror films but not necessarily drama, I got into it thinking it looked cheesy (which a lot of the effects were) but really got into watching it! It was like an action/fantasy genre. I think I need to catch the first one now… Every Japanese flick I catch makes me want to see more. Not to sound like an ass, but Chinese films often leave me feeling sad, while Japanese films I see all rock my world.
Way too stereotypical, I know. Hey — anyone know any good Chinese horror films? I’d be willing to give one a shot if I could find one!

I did it. I got me a blog and now I just gotta get that sprite. That should pass some time at work tomorrow.
I can’t say I know any Chinese horror films… I’ll ask around though.

*giggle* It’s funny, sometimes you refer to me as my actual name, and sometimes you refer to me as my mudding name. I’m amused by this
I like my pixie, she’s so cute
Btw….is it bad that I relate….a lot….to Kestrel on QoW?

Never! The number of times Kestrel’s life has parallelled (paralleled? parralelled? parachuted?) mine in some way… okay, so usually it’s the bad puns which someone made to me the day before, but I can dream!

Btw Karen, you can add Ben to the weather pixie copiers list

Chinese Horror? Well, obviously, “Mr Vampire” (Geung si sin sang according ti IMDB). Although more comic than horror it’s a cracking film!
